Changing the way you look at things is often easier said than done…but it can be done and the results may surpass your wildest dreams!
That’s what happened to us when we decided to redo our kitchen and turn it in to a space that embraced a raw living food and vegan lifestyle. Inspired by my education at the Hippocrates Health Institute, our kitchen has space for a wheatgrass juicer, two dehydrators, growing racks for sprouts, herbs and wheatgrass and a Tower Garden. Other equipment such as a food processor and a Vitamix are tucked in cabinets underneath the island. The refrigerator and island are the focal point instead of the range which is tucked in the corner near the front window.
In the past, I didn’t give much thought to my kitchen or to my diet. I just ate what I always ate which was usually some combination of meat, vegetables, breakfast cereal and sandwich fixings that were on sale at the grocery store. I’d come home and fix dinner after work and eat an hour later. Now with my raw living food and vegan diet, I spend time prepping and growing food instead of cooking it so its great to have the extra work space.
